User Groups for XML and Related Structured Information Standards

International

The International SGML/XML Users' Group (ISUG).

SGML/XML Holland.

SGML/XML Users Group Holland was founded in 1988. Originally, most participants came from publishing houses (Kluwer and Elsevier) and from corporate publishers such as Shell and the European Patent Office. Since then, the group has diversified and now consists of a mixture of technically oriented users, end users and decision makers. Today, the organization has almost 400 members, representing a broad range of companies from various industries. The Users Group's goal is to offer a knowledge exchange platform for its members. The focus of this platform is on creating and sharing pioneer knowledge on XML and SGML applications and related standards and on bringing these applications and standards to the attention of a broader audience.
