I posted a set of link and address related issues to the list under the 
subject  "[dita] Linking Related Issues To Considered in 1.1" on 
6/1/2004. The issues I listed are:

- Use of W3C standards for addressing, including use of XInclude-style 
href/xpointer attribute pair.

- Role names should be required to be namespaced

- Clearly define the relationship between format= and dynamic 
determination of MIME types for target resources

- May need to extend the link syntax to allow for indication of the use 
context for a link target (problems related to links and re-use)
