Definition of link type for <hasRelated>

The reference entry for hasRelated shows using @keys to indicate the
relationship type. However, I assume that it would also be correct to use
@keyref to point to a subject that defines the link type, e.g.:

<hasKind>
  <subject keys="relationshipType">
    <subject keys="runs-on"/>
  </subject>
</hasKind>

<hasRelated keyref="runs-on">
  ...
</hasRelated>

Is this analysis correct?
