Title: Devising a plan for getting out the vote On the agenda for today's TC call: working on our plans for organizing ourselves for rounding up votes in December. Here are some initial thoughts from a chat Kris and I had yesterday. - What (When - Who) --- How --------------------------- - Create "taxonomy" column in the OASIS-voter spreadsheet (START NOW - Tom) --- Associate each voter with a group/label (industry/geography/???) --- Examples: education, germany, easy-yes --- In case of multiple applicable labels, use judgment to prioritize - Assign groups to TC volunteers (By end of October - Tom) --- Clean up stragglers - Prepare informational letter for volunteers to send to voters (By end of October - ?volunteer?) --- Volunteers may modify letter as needed/desired - Write guidelines (suggestions) for volunteers to follow (By end of October - ?volunteer?) - Track vote progress in spreadsheet (Ongoing - Tom) - Create prizes for volunteers who round up the most votes (By end of November - ?volunteer?) --- By number? By percentage of assigned voters who vote? (Probably the latter) --- Where to get the prizes? Donations? Other?
