  The first expression is a regular XPath 2.0 expression, so you can
use it in XSLT.  The second one is an XQuery expression.  You can for
instance type both of them in the XQuery Sandbox tab in Kernow to
evaluate them.  See http://kernowforsaxon.sf.net/.
