Hi Everyone, This is a reminder that we have a meeting scheduled today. Even though I haven't had time to complete the next stage in the ValueList Ontology, we can continue our conversations on the merits of various kinds of ontologies, and I can relate how this effort reflects a number of other applications and capabilities being explored in NCOIC and locally in the FEMA Grant work for Marin County Fire.Chiefs Association. The fact that is that our work needs to extend over a wider domain that includes as-is data that conforms to no specific categorization or classification schemes.This is the same issue that affects the evolving domain of the built-environment, e.g. interior spaces, and the transition/interface from Geospatial to Building-specific information. This is not a domain that any one group from the Contractors and Architects community to Real Estate Owner/Operators to Emergency Management is going to provide the end-all be-all standard.
