A New Book on Transactive Energy Based on OASIS EI AND EMIX

All, Based on our work in OASIS EI and EMIX I have just published a new book: “Transactive Energy: A Sustainable Business and Regulatory Model for Electricity.” This book is designed help policy makers understand and lead. The book is now available for the Apple iPad or Mac at: https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/transactive-energy-sustainable/id894811747?at= 1l3vopa&ct=oa The link has a free preview.  It is best viewed in landscape mode. If you don’t have access to an Apple iPad or Mac buy or borrow one.  Otherwise, below  is a link to a pdf of the preface and first chapter of our iBook. https://www.dropbox.com/s/yxv56z1hq7fjvd5/TransactiveEnergyBookSample1.pdf I think you will see how this applies EI and EMIX and Chapter 3, Section 3 ties back to the OASIS EI and EMIX standard. I will look forward to hearing your thoughts. Best, Ed Edward G. Would it be possible for OASIS to designate a volunteer who can speak at the event and can work with myself and others on content and preparation? It is not in scope for this TC to define specifications for markets or for pricing models, but the TC has coordinated with others to ensure that commonly used market and pricing models are supported. While this specification uses Web Services to describe the services, no requirement or expectation of specific messaging implementation is assumed. Energy Interoperation Version 1.0 was approved as an OASIS Standard by the membership of the organization on 11 June 2014 in https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/ballot.php?id=2617 .
