consensus markets (per PNNL recent paper) communicates clearing price and quantity for each Party. It's essentially a quote. "here is what I found for the price that clears the market based on what I heard everyone say for the amount of power they want and how much they are willing to pay", and then everyone iterates and comes up with a new clearing price. In the consensus approach, every Party implements a Market agent.Â
