interop status
I've got one of our team to put together a summary spreadsheet for tracking the state of interop results against the servers - see the attachment. My understanding is that each server vendor has their server code up and running and frozen such that any updates to servers can be rolled back if there are interoperability issues. All servers are currently online - Cryptsoft, HP, IBM, RSA/EMC, SafeNet. There are additional use cases beyond those of the initial use case document noted in the spreadsheet. - 13.1 through 13.4 are the four asymmetric use cases posted by Mathias - EMULEX-1, EMULEX-2 are two use cases which match the Emulex use case related to the details posted by Mathias - HDD-1, HDD-2 are two use cases which match the High Density Devices client usage - SAFENET-3.1.2 and SAFENET-3.1.4 are the variants of 3.1.2 and 3.1.4 posted by Alan (with corrections for a couple of places in the document where the use case hex packets didn't match the text) The "Cryptsoft" sheet has results from a complete re-run of all interop tests against all of the servers. Where a test is not listed for a given server the server does not support that use case either returning an error indication or simply failing in some manner. Logs from the interop testing results have been archived. I've attempted to fill in the values which should be correct for each vendor in each vendor sheet assuming that vendor's testing shows correct interoperability. However only the Cryptsoft sheet values are 'confirmed' at this stage. This document is not currently intended for wider distribution - just to the interop list roster. From a Cryptsoft perspective we have no objection to the result details being public. Tim.
