test-case 13.2(5)

All, A comment during today's interop meeting led me to look at the test-case 13.2. In version 10 (KMIP Test Cases V1.1 wd10 clean (Word)) of the test-case document we still reference version 1.0's certificate attributes (page 318): ============================= Get Attributes In: uuidCertificate, attributesNames={'Certificate Identifier', 'Certificate Issuer', 'Certificate Subject', 'Certificate Type'} ============================= The client, showing v1.1 in the headers, requests these attributes and the server obliges. The spec states (line 636): ============================= Certificate Identifier This attribute is deprecated as of version 1.1 of this specification and MAY be removed from subsequent versions of this specification. The X.509 Certificate Identifier attribute (see Section 3.10) SHOULD be used instead. ============================= Does _deprecated_ mean that the 1.1 server should return an error if the old-style attributes are requested? Or does it really mean nothing and the server should return those attributes as if the request was done using version 1.0?
