RE: [kmip-interop-tech] Symmetric and Asymmetric Key Lifecycle Profiles
Bob,
Comments on kmip-profile-v1.2-asym-key-lifecycle-wd03
2.2 point 2a
Specifies symmetric key support. Should be asymmetric key.
2.2 point 5c
Crypto usage masks sign and verify are specified, but encrypt and decrypt are not. Why not?
AKLC-M-2
The following sequence is specified in this test case:
0264-0278: Destroy UID 0
0327-0345: Revoke UID 0
0363-0378: Get Attributes UID 0
0400-0410: Destroy UID 0
The first Destroy appears to be an error.

Subject: [kmip-interop-tech] Symmetric and Asymmetric Key Lifecycle Profiles
The profile provides for testing of client and server interaction throughout the lifecycle of a key from creation to destruction including key types, formats and usage masks. They may need some editing in the text but the test cases should
be good to go.
I will be sending out an update to the Opaque Object test cases shortly as well.
Thanks!
