Legal XMLers,

 

I just received a call from a member that I think you should
be aware of.

 

The CEO of one of the (now former) LegalXML Member Section
members called me regarding his renewal in OASIS/LegalXML.  He not only
reported that he will not be renewing, but he requested a refund for last year.

 

He reports joining specifically for the LegalXML Legislative
Documents, Citations and Messaging TC.  He reports the complete lack of
activity in that area is a big disappointment and cause for his non-renewal and
refund request.  The mail archives show 1 document in the past year, so
his contention may be correct.

 

The company in question continues to develop and deliver
products in this area successfully without the benefit of, or in support of,
the Standards you seek to develop.  This represents a loss for your
organization on several fronts.

 

As most customers do not come back to tell you why they are
not coming back, I believe this is unique and valuable customer feedback worthy
of your attention.
