Hello,
I am writing to inquire about when our Steering Committee will hold a meeting.
I will be available tomorrow and Monday, but out of the office September 30 through October 3. Later, October 14-24, I will be on vacation status, attending the annual conference of the Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA), International, in Boston.
As the representative of the Electronic Court Filing Technical Committee, I must press our request for Legal XML resources to support important work, analyzing the e-filing process models survey our TC recently issued. Timely progress in the work of our technical committee is not possible so long as the Steering Committee remains inactive. I want a telephone conference meeting of our Steering Committee to be convened as soon as possible on a date when I am able to participate personally. If a meeting can only be held on a date when I am not able to attend personally, I want to be sure our request is nevertheless considered for approval, so the analysis can begin. If I cannot attend, I want to designate a substitute from the Electronic Court Filing Technical Committee to speak for our request and answer any questions.
Please advise on when a meeting will happen or on steps we can take to press our request for resources otherwise. Thank you for your help in this important matter.
