Hello, fellow Steering Committee members:

It is essential that we have a meeting soon. For whatever reason, our chair hasn't been able to get us scheduled to meet. I have been encouraged by other members to go ahead and arrange for a conference bridge and I have done so:

Please plan to join a telephone conference meeting on Monday, October 13, from 4:00 p.m. EDT (1:00 p.m. PDT) for an hour to 90 minutes.

One item of business is a request from the Electronic Court Filing Technical Committee for an allotment of financial resources to support analysis of a survey they have recently conducted.

I have asked for information about the resources available to us and the procedures for making use of them within OASIS. If you have other items for the agenda, please send them in e-mail to the Steering Committee, whicih is a group on OASIS.

I will be out of town from now through Thursday. I will try to pick up the temporary role of convener again at that time.
