(With embarrassment, I'm re-sending this message with appropriate changes - I can never get the two L.A. men named John square in my brain - our new member is not John Aerts - we are not dragging him back from retirement! Also, until our Rules of Procedure have been approved by the OASIS Board, Rolly is not able to be a voting member of the Steering Committee - I have added him to our group, as "Observer." -Sorry about any confusion.)

Hello, everyone,

Welcome to our recently-elected members at large: John Greacen, Robin Gibson, and John Ruegg!

Welcome to our new member-to-be from the ABA, an Observer until our rules changes are approved: Rolly Chambers!

We were to have a conference call TODAY, June 8, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern time. However, since the Court Filing Technical Committee is finishing its meeting in Atlanta mid-day today, some of our members will be unavailable due to traveling. Also, we have not confirmed with our new members that this meeting schedule works for them. John Greacen has, accordingly, asked me to announce that today's Steering Committee phone meeting is canceled.

We do need to meet in the near future, to constitute ourselves anew by electing officers, etc..

Please let me know when you would be available for a telephone conference call - between now and June 23^rd. You may do this by providing me a list of available time blocks OR by providing a list of unavailable time blocks. Please provide me this information as soon as you can - no later than noon on Thursday, June 9. I will work with John Greacen to select the time and day for the conference call meeting - at that meeting, we will set up our regular meeting schedule from then forward.
