Event Plans for 2013

Hi All, We are working on our event plans for 2013, so I am making my rounds through all our Member Sections (MS). It is our hope to include your MS activities on our event calendar, so we can better provide members with the visibility they deserve. Such activities may include: · presentations at industry conferences, · standards showcases or round-ups (an informal showcase highlighting members currently providing products and/or services in support of the standard(s)), · interoperability demonstrations (reference the OASIS Interop guidelines: https://www.oasis-open.org/policies-guidelines/interop), · and/or MS-hosted workshops and conferences. As a reminder, we are happy to help coordinate any event efforts, so please keep us informed whenever the MS discusses their plans. All MSs are strongly encouraged to discuss plans for 2013 events in November/December timeframe. I am available to attend a MS call to help facilitate that discussion. Please let me know if that will be appropriate. In the meantime, please share our request with your members and ask them to forward suggestions. We hope you will consider planning in advance to help us facilitate collaboration, not only for your TCs, but between TCs & MSs.
