Hi Everyone, OASIS would like to organize a few MQTT-related webinars over the next several months. The first, scheduled for mid-October, will be squarely focused on MQTT 5.0 with the opportunity to discuss implementations and take-up use cases. Draft overview is below. Additional webinars around security and MQTT-SN will be planned for 2022 Winter and Spring timeframe. We would like to first make everyone on the TC aware of the activities and to find out if anyone is interested in helping us organize them. We plan to hold a meeting next week to discuss the details. MQTT 5 is the most recent version of the MQTT specification that was created to address the needs of large scale cloud computing deployments of MQTT. MQTT 5 adds more robust error handling, features for scalability and greater flexibility to the MQTT specification.
