Hello XLIFF OMOS Proposers and Convener,
The process of beginning a new Technical Committee (TC) requires that a conference call "among the Convener, the OASIS TC Administrator, and those proposers who wish to attend" shall occur within a very specific timeframe, which closes at 23:59 GMT on 27 October.
This meeting will focus on the steps forward in initiating the proposed TC.
Based on tight scheduling on the part of our Convener (Dr. David Filip), we propose to hold this call on Tue 27th October, 15:00 GMT, which will be 11:00 EDT and 8:00 PDT. We can adjust the time by one hour either way if necessary, but world-wide office hours
give us a small window for the major concerned timezones.
(Note that European and US DST are out of sync during this week - check your local time carefully.
We will follow up with dial-in information (and possible adjustment to the time) as soon as it is available.
The announcement and call-in information will be also noted on the OASIS Charter Discuss Group Calendar [1].
Apologies for providing incomplete information in this message, due to my unfamiliarity with this TC start-up process while I am standing in for Chet Ensign (TC Administrator) during his time out of the office. He is expected to be back
for the planned call.
