To the costs point - I don't think we have a conversion / legacy issue here.  OASIS can advise - but seems like little or no svn activity exists. Those impacted can I'm sure easily migrate forward files themselves.


 


Plus - regarding infrastructure - standing up the VCS server is same as svn - so I do not foresee any impacts there.  Actually if they are transitioning - that makes a good case for implementing VCS once that is complete - and using that as the go forward.


 


Farrukh can add more - but seems to me at this point this is low hanging fruit.

MarkMail, a mailing-list search service launched by MarkLogic in 2007 as a showcase for its XML full-text search engine, indexed these OASIS archives for many years.
