Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Created: (ODATA-235) Limit primitive types allowed as key parts to the "sufficiently discrete" types
Limit primitive types allowed as key parts to the "sufficiently discrete" types
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: ODATA-235
URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/ODATA-235
Project: OASIS Open Data Protocol (OData) TC
Issue Type: Bug
Components: OData CSDL v1.0
Affects Versions: WD01
Environment: [Proposed]
Reporter: Ralf Handl
Fix For: WD01
Currently there's no restriction on which primitive types can be used for key properties; yet Edm.Stream doesn't really make sense, Edm.Binary is dubious, and Edm.Double, Edm.Single, and the Edm.Geo types are problematic when used in keys.
