I like the capability, but not sure I like using $expand for this.

What would we put for the value of the $expand? The namespace to be expanded?

Would we support recursive/nested expansion? Based on levels or paths or?

Would this just be returned as a document with multiple <Schema> elements, one for the main document and one for each included document?
