[Section 9.1|http://docs.oasis-open.org/odata/odata-csdl-xml/v4.01/cs01/odata-csdl-xml-v4.01-cs01.html#_Toc505863922] in the CSDL specification defines derived complex types. The rules how this impacts the annotations of these types are not so easy to grasp, because they are described in another [section 14.2|http://docs.oasis-open.org/odata/odata-csdl-xml/v4.01/cs01/odata-csdl-xml-v4.01-cs01.html#_Toc505863954].
