Well, I hope everyone enjoyed their week off! 

While we await further action from the TC on the Metadata proposal we need
to expand and work on the Examples document.

It isn't going to be enough to have a really good proposal (which I think
we have) but we are also going to have to interest users in requesting
capabilities supported by the proposal and implementers in wanting to offer
them. Since the proposal is broad enough to support a wide variety of use
cases, let's take on some of the burden of demonstrating likely or
interesting uses for the metadata proposal.
