Michael Stahl commented on OFFICE-1849:
----------------------------------------
Proposed solution is to undo the deletion of the sentence and adjust its wording according to Oliver Specht's statement.
maybe something like this:
"For an inactive page variable, a <text:page-variable-get> expands to nothing.
Also, an inactive page variable is not incremented between pages."

> Ed. Note: The description of the attribute was confusing and has been reworked.
> Ed. Note I deleted: "An inactive page variable is neither displayed nor increased on each page." I am not even sure what was intended.
> Michael Stahl says: "according to Oliver Specht, for an inactive page variable, a page-variable-get expands to nothing. also, an inactive page variable is not incremented. "
