Outreach and liaisons with relevant workgroups - IOFM - Institute of Financial Management conference - accounts payable managers and clerks - BPC presentation made regarding accelerating payments - outlined UBL and the e-invoicing framework - good reception from vendors 3. Deliverables to the UBL TC and to UBL 2.3: a) Tradable invoice document / Bill of exchange - nothing to report at this time b) Remittance Advice - document type added to PayFin spreadsheet for future work - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10pJVBV7Nvlgg2gPhQa90WOU4744Hvvyni-E-EOfuyFI/edit - Todd to look at a gap analysis compared to ISO 20022 - work has begun by work groups of the Business Payments Coalition c) Identification of other Payfin work products - no others at this time (lots of time to think of new ones) 4. Comments received by UBL committee - Open Banking API https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/ubl-comment/201711/msg00013.html - this could be interesting - the NACHA (North American Clearing House Association) has the group Payments Initiation Alliance working on a series of banking APIs probably similar to open APIs https://www.nacha.org/content/api-standardization-industry-group - groups are referencing APIs and working towards harmonizing vocabulary 5.
