SCHEDULE REVIEW
Revised schedule:
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/ubl/200906/msg00013.html
PSC (TM): Nothing new.
TSC (AS): Have received UBLified Freightwise model; will post
to TSC list. But FW people are going on vacation, so much will
need to be done by email.
ACTION: AS to post UBLified FW data model.
ACTION: TM to review issues/qustions from FW.
AS will be traveling for the next two weeks, starting next
Saturday.
SGTG (GKH): See
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/ubl/200906/msg00011.html
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/ubl/200906/msg00012.html
GKH: The token data type allows only singleton spaces. This
means that legacy code values with multiple adjacent spaces
will be corrupted by the token type if we adopt the current
ATG approach. See note from SG (second URL above).
Normalized string as in UBL 1.0 and 2.0 removes TAB, CR, and
LF, but leaves multiple spaces alone.
TM: We considered other use case examples as well in coming
to the decision in 1.0 that we would have to use normalized
string instead of token. Token does not provide a
meaningful level of validation in any case.
TM/GKH: If token is kept in the ATG datatype catalog, UBL
will be unable to use the UN/CEFACT UDT module.
ACTION: TM to convey to UN/CEFACT our requirement for
normalized string for code values together with other issues
related to the UDT module as input for the upcoming public
review of the ATG datatype catalog, draft to first be
circulated to the UBL list.
2.0 NDR (JB): Waiting for last items from MG.
ACTION: JB to resume work on formatting issues.
IDD Vol. 1 (JB): Committee Draft is approved; must now
coordinate the CS vote with Mary M., who is going on vacation.
IDD Vol. 2 (JB): Ole is back and now discussing next steps with
Roberto. The German version has been posted to the UBL list.
Security SC (JB): Work is proceeding, but will not deliver
according to the earlier schedule; timeline has been adjusted
accordingly.
