I didn't read your last line.  When did you call the 781-890-6767 number?  I just checked with the hotel and they have just recently sent the block notification to reservations.  Please try again and it *should* work.

it seems that 800 number is hotels.com and they have no reference of
this. ($159 is the rate they quote).

781-487-4273 is the corporate office.

781-890-6767 is the number for reservations. called them and they have
no rooms available under hitachi.
