Call for nominations - AMQP Steering Committee

Nominations for the AMQP Steering Committee are open now through September 15.

Three of the nine Steering Committee seats are available for nomination, see table below for the list of expiring seats and continuing SC members.  Nominations must be made, accepted and meet all requirements by 11:45 PM EDT 15 September in order to be accepted. 

Making a nomination:

Nominations may be made by any Member Section Participant by email to  and the nominee. Self-nominations are welcome. Nominees must be OASIS Members and SC Participants.

Accepting a nomination:

Nominees must accept the nomination in order to be considered a candidate.  Acceptance messages must be sent to  AND  and should include your commitment to the position and requirements for meetings and time.  The acceptance message should also include any position statement or biographical statement you wish to share with those that may be called upon to vote for your candidacy.

At the close of nominations, staff will confirm the candidates and initiate the 14 day ballot period if required to determine who will fill the three open seats for the next two years.

Please don't hesitate to raise any questions about the process or to nominate your favorite candidate.
