Minutes of BDXR TC meeting 4 February 2015
MEETING MINUTES OF BDXR TC MEETING 4 FEBRUARY 2015 ATTENDANCE Jens Aabol Kenneth Bengtsson (chair) Erlend Klakegg Bergheim (Difi) (invited guest) Kees Duvekot Sander Fieten G. Ken Holman Sven Rasmussen REVIEW AND DISCUSSION OF BDE STRAW MAN The group discussed the straw man for the BDE submitted in the archive https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/ubl/download.php/54702/Archive.zip We affirmed that the BDE should be an independent work product with no bindings or references to specific document standards. It was decided to use the CCTS approach discussed in the straw man. BDE SCOPE, USE CASES AND REQUIREMENTS A number of specific requirements were discussed. Ole has submitted a use case (https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/bdxr-comment/201501/msg00001.html), and there are three additional use cases in the package submitted by UBL. Additionally it was debated: Whether the BDE should support extensions; There may be a specific requirement for public tenders that a BDE must be received by a contracting authority with no knowledge of the sender; A recipient might want/be required to send an acknowledgement as confirmation of receipt. Kenneth volunteered to create and edit a document to keep track of requirements. BDE TABLE OF CONTENTS The agenda item was deferred to the mailing list due to lack of time at the meeting. Ken and Kenneth will talk to create a straw man proposal. UPDATE ON BDXL AND SMP STATEMENTS OF USE Difi might be able to submit Statement of Use next week for SMP and BDXL. No further updates on Statements of Use. ANY OTHER BUSINESS It was requested that individual documents from the UBL .zip package be uploaded directly to the TC’s repository so that these documents may be referenced directly in discussions. It was agreed that Kenneth upload those individual documents from the .zip file that are relevant for future discussions and where the IPR can be determined “safe”.
