TC VOTE: APPROVAL OF BDE 1.0 COMMITTEE DRAFT SPECIFICATION AND NEW PUBLIC REVIEW

It was established that a quorum had been reached with 4 out of 6 voting members present.

Kenneth Bengtsson made a motion for the TC to approve the Business Document Envelope Version 1.0 Committee Specification Draft 02 packaged together at:

https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=55834    with changes
  from previous version documented in the comment resolution log located at
https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=55772

... as Committee Specification Draft 02 packaged together at:

https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=55834

... and designate the XML version of the document as authoritative, subject to any editorial changes required by OASIS TC Administration.

The motion was seconded by Ken Holman.

All present voting members approved of the motion.

Kenneth Bengtsson made a motion for the TC to approve releasing the Business Document Envelope Version 1.0 Committee Specification Draft 02 packaged together at:

... as Public Review Draft 02, packaged together at:

https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=55835

... for a 15-day public review, subject to any editorial changes required by OASIS TC Administration.

The motion was seconded by Ken Holman.

All present voting members approved of the motion.

It was agreed that Kenneth Bengtsson shall request TC Admin to set up the public review.

UPDATE ON BDXL AND SMP STATEMENTS OF USE

  Difi had issued a Statement of Use for SMP 1.0 located at
 https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/bdxr/201506/msg00004.html . The statement of use describes a complete implementation of the SMP 1.0 specification, with the exception of using a different namespace than the OASIS designated namespace. Erlend announced
  that Difi has now also implemented the namespace change, making their SMP 1.0 implementation fully compliant with the OASIS BDX SMP 1.0 Committee Specification, and that they have initiated the process of rolling out the change to Norwegian users. Jens Aabol,
  Difi's primary representative to OASIS, will send an updated Statement of Use to the TC mailing list.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS

  Sven informed that t he European Commission has signed an MoU with OpenPEPPOL to include PEPPOL components in the future european infrastructure (CEF e-Delivery) to support secure electronic exchange of business documents
  cross boarder. The components included in the MoU specifically mentions the SML, and SMP specifications developed and maintained by the BDX TC.

  TC meetings will be tentatively suspended during public review of the BDE PRD02, however will be resumed to discuss any Statements of Use received and if requested by any TC member.

 Jens mentioned that August is summer vacation month in Norway, why meetings may be difficult during that month.

July 8 2015, tentatively cancelled pending any upcoming orders of business

  July 22 2015, regular conference call (may be cancelled if BDE PRD02 still in review)
