BDXL 1.0 AND SMP 1.0 CANDIDATE OASIS STANDARDS ISSUED FOR PUBLIC REVIEW



BDXL 1.0 and SMP 1.0 Candidate OASIS Standards are out for a 60-day public review:

The public review will end May 14, 2017.



BUSINESS DOCUMENT HEADER/ENVELOPE PROJECT



The joint UN/CEFACT and BDXR TC project to develop a business document header and envelope technical specification was kicked off yesterday. Present from the TC were Ken and Kenneth.
  Kenneth will distribute the meeting minutes to TC members when they become available.



Next meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, March 30 at 10.00 CEST. The project agreed to hold biweekly meetings on Thursdays at 16.00 CEST, first time on April 20. Kenneth will update
  the TC’s calendar.



ANY OTHER BUSINESS



Erlend brought up an SMP interpretation question from PEPPOL regarding the ServiceActivationDate and ServiceExpirationDate. The specification states that senders should ignore services
  that are either expired or not yet activated (section 2.3.4.4), however both ServiceActivationDate and ServiceExpirationDate are optional in the XSD meaning that senders could encounter services that do not have a value for either or both. All agreed that
  it is understood that a sender encountering a service without a ServiceActivationDate should assume that the service activation date has passed, and a sender encountering a service without a ServiceExpirationDate should assume that the service expiration date
  has not passed. It was agreed to include a more explicit clarification in the next major edit of SMP.



It was agreed to cancel the next meeting scheduled for April 12, unless input for the agenda is received by the chair in advance.
