CAM, Trang and generating XSD from templates

Interestingly I ran Trang against a CAM template today - and it happily produced a very functional XSD schema.

 

This is an alternate to using the XSLT toolkit in jCAM.  Both work very similarly. What Trang is not able to do is extract type, use and restriction values from the CAM business use rules - but nevertheless - interesting that Trang can work out the box on a CAM template.  Both Trang and the XSLT toolkit both produce sub-schemas and use imports to reference any items in namespaces.  This very easily isolates the CAM template structure items from the actual main structure.

 

Just thought the curious would like to know.  Trang is included in various commercial XML editors or is available standalone as open source.
