When planning face-to-face meetings

OASIS TC Chairs, 

Just a brief reminder that when planning face-to-face meetings, please do your best to make accommodations for TC members unable to attend in person. 

In-person meetings are a great opportunity to build relationships and strong communities while making great progress on your specifications. However in today's climate of tighter budgets and travel complications, it gets harder and harder for many people to join in, especially if the gathering is not happening in conjunction with some industry event. 

Teleconferencing and virtual meeting tools may be less than perfect substitutes for being there, but they give all TC members a second option and help keep your members engaged.
