CMIS Tutorial from last TC call (and other links)
Hi, as Al mentioned in the last TC call there is a nice CMIS tutorial available now, written from Jeff Potts. I second that it’s worth reading. Here is the link to Jeff Pott’s blog, “Getting Started with CMIS”: http://ecmarchitect.com/archives/2009/11/23/1094 and here is the tutorial in PDF form: http://ecmarchitect.com/images/articles/cmis/cmis-article.pdf I think it would be useful to share information like this on the list here. Some more links I personally found interesting from the last weeks: ------------------------------- Gilbane CMIS Whitepaper (Dec 2009) Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) - Addressing Contemporary Requirements for Content Integration by Dale Waldt http://gilbane.com/beacons.html (requires registration) ------------------------------- Three Reasons to List CMIS in Your Document Management RFP Intelligent Enterprise - San Mateo,CA,USA by Alan Pelz-Sharpe Wednesday, December 9, 2009 http://intelligent-enterprise.informationweek.com/blog/archives/2009/12/three_reasons_t.html ------------------------------- AIIM: December 08, 2009 8 reasons why CMIS will transform the ECM industry http://aiim.typepad.com/aiim_blog/2009/12/8-reasons-why-cmis-will-transform-the-ecm-industry.html ------------------------------- New York Times: Momentum Builds for Open Content Management Standard CHRIS KANARACU November 23, 2009 http://www.nytimes.com/external/idg/2009/11/23/23idg-momentum-builds-for-open-content-management-standard-91825.html Jens
