I have already sent a first welcome message to the list. As a suggestion for how to get started, you all might want to craft a problem statement (the Statement of Purpose in an OASIS charter) and a description of the scope of work that a Technical Committee would undertake. As examples to help jump-start your thinking, you can review the charter of the CMIS TC at https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/cmis/charter.php and the ICOM TC at https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/icom/charter.php

On 2 Oct, the group reached agreement to draft a charter for a new
OASIS Technical Committee that will develop a CMIS profile for DAM. A discussion list (open to all interested parties) is being
set up to facilitate collaboration on this charter. Chet will provide details within the next few days on how to subscribe to this list.
