Enterprises spend a considerable
amount of resources protecting themselves from cyber attacks. Yet most
organizations have no idea if they’re investing enough or making the best use
of their resources. 

Borderless Cyber 2017 will examine
the economics of cyber security, identifying shifts in strategies and practices
that can lead to more informed decision-making. 

We invite you to be part of the
conversation. If you have ideas and experiences worth sharing with people who
are responsible for setting their organization’s cyber strategy, please submit
an abstract. Presentations should be aimed at C-level executives and directors
of threat intelligence, incident response, risk and audit. Stories of admirable
success and worthy failure, fresh approaches, new research, and policy trends
are all welcome. 

Since the
conference will be held in New York City, Borderless Cyber will be highlighting
presentations from a broad range of industries including financial services,
retail, international business, government, and others.

Topics:

The Program Committee is particularly interested in submissions
that offer: 

1.       Insights on how to
deploy proactive and reactive threat intelligence automation to save time and
resources;

2.       Effective
strategies on changing the economics for adversaries and defenders; 

3.       Lessons learned from responding to actual attacks or preventing breaches.

 

Note: Vendors are encouraged to submit case studies in partnership with their customers provided
the customer has agreed to serve as the lead speaker.

 

Presentations will generally be 30 minutes in length, including
Q&A. The Program Committee will peer-review all proposals and reserves the
right to adapt or restructure submissions to ensure an interesting and
compelling program. Marketing proposals will not be considered. 

Submit a proposal

Required information:

Individuals submitting an abstract for review will need to sign-up for a user account first. Once your account has been confirmed, you'll be able to log in using the credentials sent to your email and submit your proposal. Submissions should include:

Presentation title
·        
Abstract (500-1000 words) describing material to be covered and
take-aways for attendees
·        
Speaker contact information, bio (maximum 200 words), and photo
·        
Link to video of the speaker, if available.

Dates to Remember:

Proposals due by: 16 January 2017

Notifications will be sent by: 28 February 2017
·        
Conference dates: 21-22 June 2017

About Borderless Cyber:
Borderless Cyber is an
international, executive-level conference series that began in 2015. It’s
designed to bring together the private sector and policy makers to evaluate,
debate, and collaborate on cyber security best practices and solutions. Hosted
by the OASIS open consortium, previous Borderless Cyber events were held in
partnership with The World Bank in Washington, D.C., with the European
Parliament in Brussels, and with Keio University in Tokyo. In 2017, the
conference will be held in New York City and The Hague.
