STIX and TAXII officially recognized by Europe

The European Union has adopted a Decision recognizing OASIS STIX 1.2 and TAXII 1.1 for referencing in public procurement. This is a tremendous international milestone for the threat intelligence sharing community. 

This EC Decision covers all 28 EU countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom) and is also applied by the four EFTA countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland).
