Draft of process for publishing feature articles

Author prepares the feature article for
final approval. The
article must use the OASIS format, be output as a PDF file, have a
correctly constructed
title, and contain a revision history on the copyright and
disclaimer page.

  
OASIS DITA Adoption Committee approves the
feature article.

     

  
Chair or secretary updates the list of
"Expository work produced
by this committee" at
    http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/tc_home.php?wg_abbrev=dita-adoption

Important: Ensure that the link is to the publicly-accessible document.
Have someone without access to OASIS test the link and ensure that they
can reach it.

  
Contact for the Focus Area SC extracts
graphics from the PDF
file and uploads them to the Kavi repository in the "White papers"
section.

     

  
Contact for the Focus Area SC creates a
resource
page at dita.xml.org. This page contains the following items:

the page for the new feature article. This page is located at

Contact for the Focus Area SC sends e-mail

dita-user list (cc'ing DITA TC and DITA Adoption TC) to announce the
feature article.
