LWDITA Subcommittee meeting notes 10 May 2021

Attendees:

Mark is notetaker. Approved minutes of previous meeting.
- Final version of XDITA grammar files are needed. Carlos says someone
is needed to "specialize" the DITA 2.0 schemas to XDITA. Mark said if no
one else will do it, he will have to take it.
- Carlos - He did a presentation at Convex virtual DITA conference. Got
questions from people asking about vendor support.
- Michael - He did presentation at IA conference, but not on LWDITA.
Discuss IA, UX, and Content Strategy and the need for more connection
between them. Michael says DITA could help with this.
- Stan - He is doing a presentation at the Boston DITA group: "Why You
Need To Know About Lightweight DITA."
- Stan - The DITA Adoption subcommittee has been looking for another
standards organization to be associated with.
