Re: [dita-techcomm] Troubleshooting topic
Bob, Eliot posted his review to the
TechComm SC list on 31 March.
There is no need to wait on additional reviewers once two TC
members have completed their review.

Hi JoAnn,
The three proposals (13086, 13096, and 13098) are still in
review. I have incorporated the comments from Stan Doherty
and Kris Eberlein. I am still waiting for comments from
Eliot Kimber and Thilo Bucholtz.

Bob

Hi Bob,
What is the status of the three small proposals? Have
you finished your updates? I have not finished the
updates on the arch spec topic and won't until I'm back
in Denver in two weeks.
Thanks for this excellent review.
Best regards,
JoAnn

Hi,
I am not done. I have attached my working
files so that you can see exactly where I
am at.
The .zip contains updated DTD files that I
believe comply with Michael Priestley's
March 8 email
13121 - reusing portions
of structural specializations via domain
mechanism. These files are:
dtd/troubleshooting.dtd
dtd/troubleshooting.ent
dtd/troubleshooting.mod
File samples/troubleshooting.dita parses
against this DTD.
TroublehsootingTopicProposal13097_Stage2.dita
contains the stage 2 proposal submitted to the
TC. I don't know whether this proposal passed
stage 2.
TroublehsootingTopicProposal13097_Stage3.dita
is my initial attempt at putting the proposal
for a troubleshooting topic into the stage 3
template.
TroubleshootingModel.dita is a reference topic
that will be used as a source for creating the
troubleshooting topics in the architecturul
specification and in the language reference.
The following items remain to be done:
Resubmit the stage 2 proposal for approval
to the TC, if necessary.
Write a troubleshooting topic for the
architectural specification (a section will
also be required)
Write a troubleshooting topic for the
language reference
Incorporate comments from the Tech Comm SC
into the stage 3 proposal
Submit a stage 3 review package to our
reviewers. This assumes that the reviewers
for the other troubleshooting proposals are
also willing to review this one too.
Best Regards,
