FYI - New ability to test out DITA 2.0 document types

For anyone looking to try out DITA 2.0 (editing or processing) â that got a bit easier yesterday with the release of DITA Open Toolkit 3.5, the first version to bundle the beta versions of DITA 2.0 grammar files. It also has early implementations of a few new features, listed here:

For the few of you actively working on proposals that touch the grammar files, this gives you a more convenient spot to try out changes â at a minimum, you can make changes to the DTD or RNG, build topics, and see if your changes work. If your editor can refer to the toolkit catalog, that also gives you a validating sandbox area to test if your new markup works as you expect.
