DOCBOOK-APPS: pdfjadetex vs. memory

I have updated texmf.cnf to specify memory for jadetex and pdfjadetex per an
email in the archive from Sebastian.  The log file shows that the memory
values did not change.  I noted that the *.fmt files may need to be
redumped, and (I think) I figured out how to do that with the fmtutil.
Having completed that, I still have unadjusted memory values.

What have I missed??
