DOCBOOK-APPS: LOT on same page as TOC?

By default, the stylesheets begin LOT's on a new page following the LOC.
My LOC spills one entry onto a second page, the rest is blank, and the
LOT's begin on the following page. Is there an (easy) way to get the
LOT's to follow the LOC without starting a new page?
