DOCBOOK-APPS: Handling gif images with DocBook and OpenJade 1.3

Hi,

Does anyone have DocBook and OpenJade 1.3 with the latest JadeTex (3.6?)
handling GIF images under, say, RedHat Linux?

I am having some problems with this.
