DOCBOOK-APPS: Hyphenation in admonitions

I'm using jade 1.2.1,  jadetex 3.6 and dsssl-docbook-modular-1.71. I set
(define  %hyphenation% #t)  in  my driver  file.   Hyphenation works  OK
except  in  admonitions  (<note>,  <important>,  etc.).   I  always  get
Overfull \hbox in these...

What's wrong?
