DOCBOOK-APPS: more slides-fo woes

Recently upgraded to DocBook XSL 1.41 and got slides-2.0a1.  I use
Saxon 6.3 and Xalan Java 2.1.0, and experience this error when trying
to use the FO stylesheets:

(xalan)
file:///usr/local/share/xsl/docbook/common/l10n.xsl; Line 293; Column
18; No template named "slides" exists in the context named "title" in
the "en" localization.

FOP accepts the fo file generated nonetheless, but my name is gone,
and (more importantly) there is no title displayed anywhere.

It's not such a big thing as (once again) my slides are supposed to be
HTML anyway (the HTML slide generator works perfectly), but someday I
may need to print my slides on transparencies.  You can find my slides
