Hi there... try passing the flag "-V nochunks" to jade (or openjade). As in:

  openjade -t sgml -i html -V nochunks -d /path/to/stylesheet source.sgml > out.html

where "source.sgml" is your SGML file and "out.html" is the HTML file you
want.
