DOCBOOK-APPS: Suppressing page breaks

Hello,

  I'm thinking of becoming more ecological in the publishing of my
book by eliminating page breaks after every chapter and thereby saving
tons of trees.  Anyone know how to do this?  Maybe I could do this by
not using chapters but I do need the "chapter" names in the TOC.
