That reminds me I also have trouble when using your stylesheets to
format a document that is not book, article, or so. Most probably
jade requires the top-level sosofo to be a simple-page-sequence to do
anything correctly. This seems reasonable, but writing a stylesheet
that does the job in every case may not be easy.
I had the following idea:
- keep a list of elements that already produce page-sequences when
used at top-level
- handle the root element so that all elements not listed there
produce a simple-page-sequence
I did not investigate much if it was workable, however - other more
important things to do :(
