DOCBOOK-APPS: no header on blank pages

I am writing in DocBook 4.1 and using docbook-style-dsssl-1.64-3
and openjade-1.3-17.

My new chapters start on an odd page. That's what I want,
but if there is a blank page on the even page before it,
it still has the header from the previous chapter.

Does anyone know how to not show the header on the blank page?
